This is the 1/35 scale Tamiya kit of the M2 light tank, outfitted with solid
resin packs with a resin commander figure, all from Verlinden. The cardboard boxes
are ration packs, which are also from Verlinden. This was a fun kit to build, as
I was able to display the various items that tankers place all over their vehicles.
The fact that a tank can carry everything a soldier needs truly makes it a home on wheels.
The Stuart was a very small tank that was soon replaced by its larger brothers
the M3 Lee and the M4 Sherman.
