I loved this kit so much that I built it as soon as I got it.
Moebius really knocked the ball right out of the park with this one. The kit
fits together so easily that re-adjusting the right arm, like I did here, was a snap
to do. I painted my Ironman in more duller shades of red and gold, and then I put a
black wash over the figure, in an attempt to give him a more battle-hardened
look. The base was painted black as a base coat, then I dry-brushed silver over
it.
I didn't realize until later that I had gotten so carried away with the painting
that I didn't paint Iron Man exactly as he appeared in the film. Whoops! But,
who cares? This was how he looked in the comics, somewhat, so that was good enough
for me.
