This is a solid resin figure kit of Batgirl, as she appears from the Batman: The
Animated Series. The style is cartoonish, and that's what drew me to this figure.
Her head and cape are one piece that's glued onto the body.
I bought and built this figure and when I lived in New Jersey. After I moved to
my house in Pennsylvania, I completed the figure with a paint job. The problem
is that I have lost the original carton, along with all the information about who
was her sculptor, and what company sold her. If anybody knows, could you please
drop me a line?
UPDATE: Robb Rotondi, owner of Needful Things, has contacted me and said
that he produced this kit under the "Fighting Monk Studios" line. They also made
a Batman and a Tim Drake Robin in the same scale as Batgirl. If you are thinking
of buying a kit from Robb, I would highly suggest you'd do so. The casting on
Batgirl was perfect; the figure hardly required any sanding.
